I'm Tom Stratton, and I teach shooting

Learning to shoot is simple, but not easy. 
I'll teach you how to shoot with confidence.

It takes practice and training to become good at handgun shooting, and to build your shooting skills. I'll share with you some shooting tips that are safe, fun, and effective, regardless of your experience..

I'm Tom Stratton

I'll be you primary Instructor. I've served both the military and law enforcement. 

I'm an NRA Certified Instructor. If you're new to shooting, or inexperienced with firearms, I'll teach you how to improve your confidence and your shooting skills.

Each session includes a safety lecture detailing the basic parts of firearms, proper firearm safety, and shooting fundamentals. Shooters will then spend time live firing on the range with live ammunition, targets, and firearms.

If you don't own a gun, you may rent one at the range for a nominal fee. Shooters are responsible for the range fees too, normally about $15. Call (859) 314-9565

We offer Carry Concealed Classes

Kentucky CCDW License classes are $85. 
They're held at SemperFi Firearms, 
Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville

It's only a 6 hour class and you'll 
receive your certificate in less than 24 hours.
